2013 District 9 Team Champs

The ECC Boys Tennis Team is having yet another successful season with only one loss to date. The team defended its District 9 title by defeating the challenger Brockway in a tough match, 3-2. In singles play, Drew Meyer won the District 9 Singles title over teammate Alan Brennen. The team will look to continue its success in Doubles Districts this Monday, as well as in the first round of team and singles state playoffs.

May 9 – Successfully defending its title over the Brockway Rovers, the ECC Boys Tennis Team won the District 9 title, 3-2.

May 6 – In the District 9 Singles Tournament held today, Drew Meyer came out on top, defeating teammate Alan Brennen in the final.

May 2 – Swept the Bradford Owls 9-0 up at Bradford.

May 1 – Came out strong today, defeating DCC 5-0 in District 9 Team Semifinals. Look to continue that success tomorrow up in Bradford, as well as in Team District Finals next week vs Brockway.

April 30 – Defeated DCC 8-1, and look to defeat them again tomorrow in District Semifinals.

April 25 – Carried out the sweep, 9-0, over a very young Punxsy squad.

April 23 – Defeated the Johnsonburg Rams 8-1, in Johnsonburg.

April 18 – The Boys Tennis Team defeated Bradford 7-2 to cap it’s four match week.

April 17 – Picked up the win over our crosstown rivals, the Flying Dutchmen, 8-1.

2013 Boys Tennis Team

Nick Caggiano: Head Coach of the ECC Boys’ Tennis Team for four years now, Caggiano enjoys seeing all of his players grow as tennis players and become successful both on and off the court.

Fr. Jim Faluszczak: Assistant Coach of the team for two seasons, Fr. Jim brings both his experience as a former coach and as a priest to the table.
