Graduation Information

Graduation Ceremony Guidelines

Honors for Graduation will be determined by courses completed at the end of eight semesters.
The graduation ceremony is designed to be very formal and proper. To ensure that this atmosphere is maintained throughout the ceremony, students must comply with these guidelines:
  • Shoes must be worn at all times; shoes may not be switched from girls to guys
  • Guy’s slacks may not be rolled up to give the illusion of shorts
  • Air horns or any other type of noisemakers are not permitted
The dress code outlines above must be worn under the graduation gown with no alterations.
(Effective August 1, 2012, revised May 1, 2014)
Note: All seniors will receive blank diplomas at graduation. The authentic (official) document will be mailed the following week pending satisfaction of all school and school system requirements.
