SMCES Kindergarten Readiness Camp

St. Marys Catholic Elementary School is offering a Kindergarten Readiness Camp. This program is scheduled to run from July 27 through July 29, 2021 from 9:00 AM until 11:30 AM each day. This program is optional and free of charge.

Camp will take place in the Kindergarten classrooms at SMCES and will be led by our Kindergarten teachers, Mrs. Roberts, Mrs. Nunamaker, and Miss Cunningham.  Each day campers will participate in activities such as story time, playtime, and a review of colors, numbers, letters, shapes, one-to-one correspondence, and sequencing.

Thursday, July 29 is a special field trip day where students learn about bus safety and get a tour on a real school bus! The tour ends at Benzinger Park where all family members are invited to join us for a picnic lunch from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

When dropping your child off, please park in the large parking lot and walk students to the main office entrance where someone will greet them and lead them to their classroom. Pick-up will also be at the main office entrance with the exception of Thursday, July 29 when we will all meet at the park for our school family picnic.
