Ted Hanes ’90, president of ECCSS, oversees the Advancement Team.
Franchesca Herzing ’05 serves as the gift-giving coordinator for The ECCSS Fund, Business Sponsorship, Major Projects Fund, and Legacy Society for planned giving. She leads grant application and processing for the system and handles new scholarship requests.
Melinda Lanzel ’05 will be starting as the marketing and enrollment director for ECCHS, SMCMS, SMCES, and St. Leo School in February 2026. A proud ECC alum, parent, and longtime educator within our system, Melinda brings a deep understanding of what makes Elk County Catholic special. She is excited to share our story with the broader community while building relationships with families and supporting them through every step of the enrollment journey.
Jessica Fritz ‘96 assists with marketing and advancement for ECCHS, SMCMS, SMCES, and St. Leo School. Jessica, along with her husband and two children, is an alumnus of ECC and brings experience in administrative assistance, marketing, website management, social media, event planning, project management, and public relations.
