Civil Air Patrol Cadets

They participate every Thursday evening, which consists of drilling, marching, and character development. They also have the opportunity to participate in weekend training at the regional and national levels, as well as to obtain their pilot’s license at no charge through CAP flight training.

Cadets who have the goal of entering the United States Air Force after high school graduation have the chance of entering at a higher rank, such as an E-3 Airman First Class, and also have a higher degree of success in entering the U.S. Air Force Academy.
