Primavera Celebration

Students from Profe’s Spanish 3 class—Joanna Dourado, Ava Corl, and Addy Grady—recently visited the Penn Highlands Healthcare Adult Day Center to celebrate Primavera (Spring)… even if we’re still feeling those Invierno (Winter) vibes!

During their visit, students shared what they’ve been learning by teaching residents about the seasons in Spanish, along with a few fun vocabulary words for each season. It was a wonderful opportunity to practice their skills while spreading joy and building meaningful connections.

A special shoutout to Danielle Heiberger, a former ECC graduate, who now runs the center and welcomed our students so warmly.
