The MET students are doing some truly exciting things!
In a hands-on lesson that went a bit beyond the usual curriculum, students recently learned how to wire residential electrical boxes. Instructor Sam Olivertt from Northern Pennsylvania Regional College brought in a mock wall, giving students the opportunity to practice installing electrical boxes and wiring outlets just like they would in a real home setting.
Experiences like this not only spark interest but also build valuable, real-world skills. Learning a trade like basic electrical work is a life skill that can serve these students for years to come—whether at home or in a future career!
