Making a Splash with Fr. Jeff!
It’s like a bath for your soul! To follow up on their lessons, our St. Marys Catholic Elementary School kindergarteners met with Fr. Jeff at Queen of the World Church for a special hands-on experience. Gathering around the baptismal font, they watched a walkthrough of a baptism, with “parents” holding baby “Jefferia” and their “Godparents” by their side.
They learned that just as we wash our hands of dirt, baptism is a sign that God cleanses us and gives us a fresh start. Getting baptized is like putting on a team jersey—it signals to everyone that you are on “Team Jesus” and ready to follow Him forever.
