During Catholic Schools Week 2026, students from St. Marys Catholic Middle School, Elk County Catholic High School, and ECC’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) came together for a meaningful service project to support our local first responders.

Students in grades 6–12 donated the items that filled each bag, helping to create “To Go” snack bags for police, fire departments, EMTs, and search and rescue teams — small grab-and-go kits to provide nourishment during long, stressful, and unpredictable emergencies when meals aren’t always available.

Our middle school students decorated canvas bags with heartfelt, inspirational messages of gratitude. Our high school students created thank-you cards to include inside each bag. FBLA students then assembled the bags, bringing the entire project together.

We are so grateful for the men and women who serve and protect our communities each day. This was a small way for our students to say thank you and to put their faith into action. 💛
