Elk County Catholic High School held its annual Share Your Career Day on Tuesday, January 6. This year’s event was structured as a career fair for all students in grades 9-12, featuring ECCHS Alumni, area business leaders, mental health services, and regional colleges.

Kyle Schatz, ECCHS Class of 2016, with a degree in Horticulture from Penn College, is currently working in the family business with Schatz Lawn And Wall

Mitchell Cashmer, ECCHS Class of 2017, D.O., doctor of osteopathic medicine from Gannon University and Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine

Moria Stanisch, ECCHS Class of 2022, Chemistry and Pre-Med major at Gannon University

Sadie Frey, Doctor of Physical Therapy from Gannon University, is currently working at Penn Highlands Elk Outpatient Rehab

Dan Hawkins, ECCHS Class of 1977, B.S. with a Master’s in Special Education from Clarion University, Principal Certification from PSU, Superintendent letter from Westminster College, former Middle School Principal and Director of Special Education at Dubois Area School District, former Superintendent at Brockway Area School District, former Interim ECCSS President, and current member of ECCSS’s Industrial Council

Mitchell Smithbauer, ECCHS Class of 2015, major in Electrical Engineering from Penn State Behrend, and currently works as an Electrical Controls Engineer at Wabtec in Erie, who designs and manufactures equipment, locomotives, and large mining vehicles

Bryan Hansen, ECCHS Class of 2015, major in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State Behrend, and currently works as a Facilities Engineer at SGL Carbon.

Ryan Fritz, ECCHS Class of 2019, Major in Environmental Studies & Sustainability with a Minor in Leadership Development and Environmental Communication and Cultural Heritage from Slippery Rock University, and is currently working as an Environmental Engineer at SGL

Larry Smith, ECCHS Class of 1996, Major in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement from Mercyhurst University, has been a police officer with the City of St. Marys for 20 years.
