Isaac Vogt named 2026 Kreckel Enterprises Inc. / ECCHS Student of the Year
This morning, Kreckel Enterprises Inc. presented the 2026 Student of theYear award to Isaac Vogt, who is a member of the Senior Class at Elk County Catholic High School. Isaac is the son of Dale and Jen Vogt of St. Marys.
Isaac is the ninth recipient of the award presented annually by the Kreckel Family. The award is given in memory of Lavern Kreckel Jr., who was a member of the Elk County Christian High School Class of 1963. Kreckel was also well known in the local industry, having owned a secondary machine shop in the 70’s and 80s and later establishing Kreckel Enterprises in 1997 with his son Vern. Kreckel loved his job and worked hard; he always made a point of mentoring his employees to encourage them to work in the local industry.
Upon his passing in 2017, the Kreckel family established the award to recognize outstanding students at ECCHS.
