Operation Christmas Child Service Mission Project

Mrs. Skellen’s Preschool class at St. Mary’s Catholic Elementary School is learning the meaning of compassion and love for others through the Operation Christmas Child service mission project. The class discussed their own blessings and how they can help other children and families that may be experiencing hardships, especially around the holiday season.

The class collected toys, school supplies, and toiletries, and filled shoeboxes with a faith-filled message to be shipped through Samaritan’s Purse to children around the world. Father Jeff Noble of Queen of the World Parish held a special blessing for the children and gifts before they were dropped off for shipping. 🎁♥️💛
