In Mrs. Tricia Bauer’s Environmental Science class, students are learning some Great Lakes geography as part of their Evolution lesson! 🌎

The class is learning about the invasive Zebra Mussel and its impact on the Great Lakes region. The class is documenting the first discovery of the mussel and how it has spread, impacted the economy, affected aquatic life, and causing disease in birds. It is vital for our students to learn how the natural world works, be aware of environmental issues, and understand how we all play a role in working towards solutions and living more sustainably.
