Fr. Chris and Mrs. Gahr’s Theology 3 classes at Elk County Catholic High School took a walking field trip to Sacred Heart Parish today, to observe the seven stained-glass windows in the sanctuary.
This complements the juniors’ course of study for the year, The Sacraments. They spent time studying and reflecting on the images. Journal prompts allowed them to contemplate the lessons contained in the glass, as well as to appreciate their artistry and the beautiful architecture of the Church.
