Spanish Field Trip to PHE Adult Day Center

Profesora Amanda Shrubb’s Advanced Spanish Class at Elk County Catholic High School took a walking field trip to Penn Highlands Healthcare Adult Day Center. The students taught the center’s program participants colors in Spanish and then enjoyed a coloring activity together.

The Penn Highlands Adult Day Center in St. Marys, PA, offers an interactive and safe day program for adults with dementia or other cognitive or physical age-related limitations who need daily care but wish to remain in their current living situation.

The students had a wonderful time getting to know everyone at the center, and the class hopes to visit again soon!
