On Wednesday, October 8, the St. Leo School middle school girls created a beautiful display they call the “Floating Rosary” under the direction of Mrs. Kucenski, Mrs. Messineo, Mrs. Urmann, and Mrs. Hoffman. The theme for this year’s rosary is “Celebrating the Martyrs of the Catholic Church”. Prayer intentions from each school family were placed in each “bead” of their floating rosary. Mrs. Messineo also helped the girls make their own hairbows for this anticipated event, and each proudly wore their bow in their hair.

After the rosary had been constructed and intentions prayerfully placed inside each bead, the middle school girls and Fr. Justin led the entire school in praying the rosary and song. After the school procession moved to the church parking lot, the rosary was released and tethered, remaining high in the sky until dusk.
