Elk County Catholic School System welcomes Miss Kaylee Potter to its faculty and staff! Miss Potter will be working as a preschool aide in Mrs. Shirey’s classroom at St. Marys Catholic Elementary School.
Miss Potter is originally from Altoona, PA, and moved to St. Marys four years ago. She is a mother of three and is currently obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Penn State World Campus. As a student, Kaylee worked in the Life Program at Dickinson Center. There, she helped children in the kindergarten readiness program. “I love the idea of being a friend and mentor to those who might be struggling. I believe every child deserves a chance to thrive and be happy, and I want to be part of that journey. Using what I learn, I hope to make a positive impact on their lives and help them reach their full potential. Seeing children smile and succeed is truly my passion, and I am excited to be a part of SMCES and the community, said Potter.”
