Several students from St. Marys Catholic Middle School and Elk County Catholic High School participated in a Mission Trip over the summer. The trip was made possible by the generous donations of the parish community and the Catholic Foundation of NW PA grant.

Students—Liam Smith, Franco Williams, Isaac Vogt, Christian Sloff, Marcus Gahr, Molly Gahr, and Lou Bish—along with three chaperones, Dan and Lori Schreiber and Fr. Kevin Holland, traveled to Cumberland, Maryland, to serve others through Catholic HEART Workcamp from July 6–12.

The CHWC partners with local agencies to provide home repairs, wheelchair ramp repair and maintenance, painting, cleaning, and general fix-up for the elderly and low-income communities.

Through your support, our young people experienced a life-changing week of faith, service, and community—bringing Christ’s love to those in need through hard work, prayer, and joyful witness.
