Today we welcomed our students back to the classroom, but they’re not the only ones we’re celebrating! We are proud to announce that Ted Hanes (ECC Class of 1990) has been named the next president of the Elk County Catholic School System.
Mr. Hanes is no stranger to ECC – he spent more than 20 years here as a teacher, technology coordinator, and vice principal before serving as the founding principal of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic High School in Myrtle Beach, SC, and most recently as a mathematics instructor at Christ the King Catholic High School in Concord, NC.
He will officially begin his new role as ECCSS president in September, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome him home.
Please join us in praying for Mr. Hanes as he prepares to return to the community that helped shape his faith, his career, and his love for Catholic education.
