Following Pentecost Sunday, we would like to share St. Marys Catholic Elementary School’s Bible Museum. Not only did the students learn about the coming of the Holy Spirit, but they also had to read, write, and look up scriptures in the Bible, write a summary paragraph, create a diorama depicting their favorite parable, and learn to play the flutophone.
At the end of the school year, the students displayed their dioramas in the gym as part of their Bible Museum and performance, based on the story “Favorite Parables from the Bible: Stories Jesus Told” by Nick Butterworth and Mick Inkpen. The project aligned with the school’s Friendzy program message, “Live the Word of God.” Click here to watch the stories of Jesus come to life!
