Students and staff gathered for a daily Novena in Memory of Pope Francis.
The Catholic Church observes nine special days to pray, remember, and honor the pope’s life. These are called Novendiales. Nine is an important number in the Bible; Jesus’ disciples and Mary prayed for nine days before the Holy Spirit came to them at Pentecost. Catholics worldwide pray for the pope’s soul, thank God for his leadership, and ask for guidance as the Church prepares to choose a new pope. 🕊🙏
