As part of their STREAM course, 8th-grade students at St. Marys Catholic Middle School are constructing items they would need if they were marooned on an island. The items include a hut, a bridge, a message container, and a raft. Students are utilizing an engineering process where they collaborate to create a plan to construct the item using limited materials, test the design, and evaluate their work.
