February’s virtue is CHEERFULNESS – looking on the bright side.
One of the Saints that St. Leo students will study and focus on this month is Saint John Bosco. St. John Bosco taught many young children that God wants us to find joy in everything.
Saint Phillip Neri, another Saint that St. Leo’s upper grades will study this month, liked to remind people that “cheerfulness strengthens the heart and makes us persevere in a good life. Therefore, the servant of God should always be in good spirits.”
Let’s spend February finding the joys in our lives and helping others as cheerfully as possible!
“Each must do as already determined, without sadness or compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
2 Corinthians 9:7
