St. Marys Catholic Middle School students are busy learning new art styles in the New Year.
Eighth-grade made chalk drawings. The students needed to include a range of values and pay attention to line quality, pattern, and texture. Their current project includes working with clay to make functional pieces such as mugs, jewelry holders, pots, etc.
Sixth-grade students are creating winter landscapes using watercolors and acrylics.
