The knitting club at St. Leo School is offered over the winter months for students in grades 4-8. Under the direction of St. Leo School Principal Lynne Kucenski, students learn to knit hats and scarves thanks to a generous donor, which allows the school to buy yarn and needles.
Many students take their knitting to the next level by creating their own designs, such as blankets. During the holidays, students knit presents for their family and friends. The knitting club also makes hats for newly Baptized babies at St. Leo Parish.
