Congratulations to our very own Wee J Fernan on receiving the first St. Leo Catholic School Distinguished Graduate Award! Father Justin Pino and classmate Sam MacDonald presented the award this morning during Mass at St. Leo Magnus Church in Ridgway.
The National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) Distinguished Graduate Award recognizes Catholic elementary school graduates who have made significant contributions to the Catholic Church or American society. The award acknowledges Character, Community Connection, Knowledge from Catholic schooling, Service to others, and Faith.
We can’t think of a more deserving and humble person to be the first recipient of this award!
