Miss McCracken’s Pre-K and Pre-3 classes at St. Marys Catholic Elementary School recently enjoyed the beautiful fall weather during a leaf hunt in the forest. The class recently read “The Leaf Thief” then discussed all the colors of autumn and why the leaves change color. Students then sorted leaves by color and size. The leaves collected have been preserved and will be put into the classroom autumn sensory bin.
