4A class at St. Marys Catholic Elementary School enjoyed today’s Friendzy lesson with Mrs. Sloff as they made slime.
Lessons have been focusing on a “we vs. me” community and recognizing that we are hardwired for friendship, meaning we are better together! Students talked about the individual ingredients and how they needed one another to produce something greater… and more fun!
Mrs. Sloff also used maroon and gold glitter to add Crusader spirit to the slime! The kids had a blast connecting this activity with Ecclesiastes 4:9, “Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor.”
