In a fun lesson about energy, 4th-grade students at St. Leo School competed to see who could transfer the most energy to a rubber band! Students stretched their rubber band to show potential energy (energy that is stored) and let go to show kinetic energy (energy in motion). After launching their rubber bands, students measured the distance the rubber band traveled to determine whose rubber band transferred the most energy.
