Elk County Catholic School System would like to welcome Mrs. Daniele Yost to our faculty and staff!
Mrs. Yost will be teaching High School Tech Foundations and Middle School Enrichment. Daniele graduated from ECCHS in 2003, pursuing a degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Literacy from St. John’s University in Queens, NY. While attending St. John’s University, Daniele was involved in Campus Ministry and Habitat for Humanity, where she served as the Campus Chapter President. Daniele worked for the Graduate School of Education, where she assisted professors in a small village in Africa in creating the Doctoral Literacy Program. After graduating, Daniele returned to Elk County, where she has worked as a Reading Specialist for the last 16 years.
Daniele lives in St. Marys with her two children, husband, and three cats. When not teaching, she loves to travel, boat, hike, bike, swim, and write. Daniele has two published children’s picture books. Her latest hobby is learning the art of canning and preserving foods.
Mrs. Yost looks forward to new adventures at the middle and high school levels.
