Today is Social Media Giving Day, and we encourage everyone to use social media to promote charitable giving and make a difference in the world. We are celebrating Social Media Giving Day by using social media to promote generosity and kindness through our platforms.
Service to the school and community is a daily part of living our Catholic Faith at Elk County Catholic School System. Through our ECHO (Elk Catholic Helping Others) Program, students participate in school-wide fundraisers for charitable organizations and provide assistance as needed throughout the school year.
Please help us spread the word by sharing your favorite charitable organization or giving story in the comments. If your charitable organization is on social media, make sure to tag them so we can help raise awareness about their organization. At 7 p.m., one random person will be picked to win a Crusader Back to School Prize Package!
