On Thursday, May 23rd, the fifth-grade class at St. Marys Catholic Elementary School held its annual Cardboard Carnival.

The students spent nine weeks in the fourth quarter designing carnival-themed games and building them out of cardboard and duck tape only! Each grade got to play each game for a chance to win prizes, get their face painted, take pictures in the photo booth, and receive a bag of cotton candy!

Thank you to Mrs. Julie Skellen for organizing the event and all the staff who helped with face painting, the photo booth, and making cotton candy.
