As we gear up for the 2024/2025 school year, Elk County Catholic School System is excited to announce Mitch O’Neill as our new Varsity Soccer Coach. We look forward to a successful season under his leadership. This will be Mitch’s 8th year coaching ECC Soccer.
Mitch is a 2013 Alum and four-year letterwinner at ECC. He received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State and works as a Process Engineer at SGL Carbon.
Joining Mitch in coaching Varsity will be Tom Wanner and Jude Hoffman. Dom Scacchitti and Jesse Shirey will lead the JH team. “My goal for the team is to play at a competitive level, work hard, focus on the details, and help develop the athletes into successful young men on and off the field, said Mitch.”
Get ready for an exciting summer of soccer! Our summer open-field soccer sessions for ECCSS JH and Varsity players will kick off on June 17. Join us every Monday and Wednesday from 6 to 7:45 p.m. at the Kersey Park multi-purpose fields for fun and competitive play.
