Create or Log Into your BetterWorld account:
If you have not created an account on BetterWorld, follow these steps:

Click on “Log in” on the top right corner.

Click on “Sign up” where it asks “Don’t have an account?”

Follow the instructions

Once you are logged into your BetterWorld account- you can head to the auction and start bidding
How to Bid on Auction Items:

Scroll through auction items.

Click on the name of the item you wish to bid on.

Enter the dollar amount you wish to bid. There is an option to enter a max bid. If applied, the app will bid for you until the max amount is reached.

We will be utilizing “popcorn” bidding which will automatically extend the bidding time on an item by 10 minutes if a new bid is placed within the final 10 minutes of bidding.

Bidding is anonymous to other bidders.
Below is important information to read before you start bidding.
To officially place each bid, you must be logged into your BetterWorld account. Please confirm your credit card information and whether you’d like to cover the transaction fee. Covering the fee allows the full amount to go to the ECC Art Department. To opt out of covering the transaction fee, unclick the box.
BetterWorld has pre-programmed a tip that goes directly to the BetterWorld app (NOT to ECC) with EVERY BID YOU MAKE. This is OPTIONAL and NOT NECESSARY.
To opt out of this “tips” fee:
1. Click on the question mark beside the text. A dropdown box with an explanation of how these funds are used will then appear.
2. At the end of the paragraph, click “here”.
3. On the new screen that appears, click the gray box that says, “I’d prefer not to contribute at this time.”
4. You can then click on the blue rectangle that says “Complete Purchase”
Payment: Your credit card will NOT be charged until bidding closes on May 11 and will only be charged if you are the winning bid. **If you choose to tip the app, your card will be charged the tip amount immediately.**
Email and/or text notifications from BetterWorld will be sent to (1) thank you for your bid, (2) let you know if you have been outbid, (3) confirm you won the item. If it is approaching auction closing time and you are in a bidding war, be sure to continue to refresh the page for the quickest updates.
