Mrs. Sherry’s Physics II students at Elk County Catholic High School presented their final Case for Christ projects last week.

The Case for Christ project was inspired by Lee Strobel’s book and movie The Case for Christ. The movie is a true story about an atheist journalist who investigates the evidence for Christ. Students watched the film in class and then were challenged to research scientific evidence to support our Catholic beliefs.

Featured are the following seniors:

Noah Cherry examined the validity of the gospels, scientific evidence of Jesus’s miracles, and the connection between the Big Bang Theory and God.

Moe MacDonald used the ideas of Logic, Love, and Living to show that it makes sense that God is a transcendental being and that Jesus is the Son of God.

Andrew Seltzer interviewed a few skeptics and used scientific evidence to argue against their claims.

Katie Petrosky described the process by which the Vatican proves medical miracles to show that miracles do happen even today.
