The preschool class at St. Mary’s Catholic Elementary School is celebrating their ABC countdown to summer, and on the first day, they celebrated “Art Day” for the letter A.
Part of the lesson included a special visit to Mr. Gradl’s art class. He demonstrated a lesson on French artist Herve Tullet, a multidisciplinary artist and renowned children’s book author. Mr. Gradl focused on Tullet’s abstract art using primary colors with touches of black and encouraged the students to create their own unique paintings using this technique.
