Three students from Elk County Catholic High School, Clarissa Seltzer, Melena Piccirillo, and Emma Repko, participated in the inaugural session of the Youth in Action Leadership Program sponsored by the Community Education Council.

The students met regularly over the past several months to learn about Elk County’s communities and their offerings. As a culminating project, the ECC girls worked with Joe Jacobs from the Boys and Girls Club to develop a project to appeal to local youth. They hope to continue to work on the idea, along with the Boys & Girls Club, their FBLA chapter, and FBLA adviser Mrs. Marlene Stubber, to see the project through.
