Monday, April 8 Dismissal Update:

On Monday, April 8th, 2024, our local area will experience a Solar Eclipse. This event coincides with our typical dismissal time and presents a unique supervision challenge. Many families have expressed an interest in taking advantage of this once-in-a-generation opportunity. Due to these considerations, ECCSS Schools SMCES, SMCMS, ECCHS, and SLS will observe an early dismissal on Monday, April 8.

Dismissal Times:

ECCHS/SMCMS:

Middle & High School SMA Bus Students: 11:10 a.m.

St. Marys Catholic Middle School: 11:12 a.m.

Elk County Catholic High School & Ridgway Bus: 11:15 a.m.

Johnsonburg Bus Students: 12:05 p.m.

Cameron County Bus Students: 12:10 p.m.

SMCES:

St. Marys Catholic Elementary School Walkers: 11:50 a.m.

St. Marys Catholic Elementary School 12:00 p.m.

SMCES Johnsonburg Bus 12:00 p.m.

SMCES Cameron County Bus: 12:25 p.m.

All Day 4-year old Preschool 11:45 a.m.

– Due to this recent change, the transportation forms sent home last week are no longer valid due to the time change. If you would prefer to change your child’s method of transportation that day, please send a note to the school indicating a transportation change. Otherwise, your child will go home via their usual Monday routine at 12:00 PM

-There will NOT be an afternoon Extended Day program. If your child typically attends the afternoon Extended Day program, please send in a note about how they will go home on this day.
