Last week, the You Go Girl! Program at St. Leo School wrapped up their season with the much anticipated culminating event, Daddy Daughter Social. Girls in grades K-3 were invited, along with their dad or other male role model, for an evening of fun, games, and dancing. Girls in grades 4-6 who participate in the You Go Girl club planned, organized, and hosted the event!

The club is a parent-run community organization headed by Patricia Macer and Erica Mitcheltree, providing activities promoting fitness and positive self-imageā€”the club partners with area businesses volunteering their time and talents as guest speakers. This year’s Daddy Daughter Social theme was “space,” featuring rocket-shaped fruit kabobs on the snack bar, astronaut photo booth props, and galactic bracelet making. The night’s highlights were the annual hair braiding contest and daddy dance-off.
