St. Leo School 4th grade students visited Parker Dam State Park to learn the sweet story of maple sugaring, its discovery, and how real maple syrup is made. This field trip was offered to the students to enhance their study of their most recent classic novel, Miracles on Maple Hill, by Virginia Sorensen.
