As we enter the Paschal Triduum, Payton reminds us that we are all valuable in the Lord’s eyes. May we remember his sacrifice and spread his message of love.

For March, St. Marys Catholic Elementary School students have been working on the “I am valuable” concept in the Friendzy Program. We are all valuable in God’s eyes, no matter what. Learning this and the value of teamwork has been significant.

To demonstrate teamwork and individual value, the students had to construct towers made of spaghetti, tape, and string that would support a marshmallow on top. Students worked in groups of 4-5, listening, valuing other thoughts and ideas, demonstrating patience, and conveying their ideas to the team, which were a few skills worked on within this project.
