Sister Kathryn Hermes and Sister Emily Beata, from the Daughters of Saint Paul, visited the students from St. Marys Catholic Middle School, Elk County Catholic High School, and St. Leo School on March 18. The sisters shared their work in the Daughters of Saint Paul order and their lives as religious sisters with the students. The sisters were in the area for a Lenten Mission at St. Boniface Parish.

Founded by Blessed James Alberione in 1915 to take up the modern means of communication for the Gospel and the Church, the Daughters of St. Paul bring Jesus Christ to humanity in more than 50 countries. The Daughters of St. Paul are 100 years of collaboration among religious, clergy, and laity to help people connect with Jesus Christ and the Church in a secular digital culture.

The life goal of the Daughters of St. Paul is the same as our father, St. Paul the Apostle: “It is no longer I who live, but Christ living in me” (Galatians 2:20).
