Steve Appleby Visits ECCHS

Mr. Steve Appleby, Army Green Beret and Curator for the WWII Museum in Eldred, PA, spoke with the class about preserving the history of those who served. The mission of the museum’s founders is to commemorate the contribution of 40 million Americans who supported the 16 million fighting soldiers during the epic struggle to defend freedom and democracy against the forces of greed and aggression. Individuals such as Steve help shape a stronger future for the United States by helping present and future generations understand the lessons of our past to build a brighter future.
