St. Marys Catholic Elementary School dressed in red today to help raise awareness and money for the local Community Blood Bank.
As a non-profit organization, the Community Blood Bank has been providing a safe, reliable supply of volunteer blood to patients in need since 1966. The Community Blood Bank of NWPA &WNY supplies blood and blood products to 19 hospitals and 7 Stat MedEvac bases throughout Northwest Pennsylvania and Western New York.
