SMCES MDA Hop-A-Thon

Kindergarten students at St. Marys Catholic Elementary School held their annual Hop-A-Thon this morning to help raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

Fourth-grade students counted how many hops the Kindergarten students could do in two minutes. St. Marys Catholic Elementary School’s kindergarten class has participated in the MDA Hop-A-Thon program since 2001, raising $27,798.11. The program offers a weeklong disability awareness lesson plan and hands-on activities for children with books, videos, and other free educational materials.
