St. Marys Catholic Middle School completed its second school-wide STREAM project of the school year. The school-wide project aims to enhance problem-solving skills while engaging in community-building among the students in grades 6-8. The students built gingerbread houses for this project. The students used an engineering approach to understand the problem, brainstorm ideas, develop a plan, implement the plan, and evaluate the solution. The houses will be donated to local nursing home residents.
