Jesse Tree

One devotional activity often used during the liturgical season of Advent is the Jesse Tree. A Jesse Tree is decorated with symbols that mark the journey from the world’s creation to the birth of Christ. The third graders anxiously anticipate putting the next ornament on the tree as they see how all the Bible stories connect to Jesus’ birth.
