World Kindness Day

The theme for the year 2023 is “Be Kind Wherever Possible.” During their weekly Friendzy program, students at St. Marys Catholic Middle School are learning to consider the needs of others before their own.

The Friendzy Program is a social-emotional character development program rooted in scripture. The goal is to help students reduce stress and build healthy relationship skills while creating an exceptional learning environment that nurtures academic and personal growth, setting the foundation for lifelong success.

Throughout the 9-week Friendzy Program, students in K-8 learned that we need each other, love at all times, teamwork makes the dream work, the power of words and forgiveness, recognizing your own and others’ values and strengths, and that friendship is a gift.
