November was a busy month for ECC’s FBLA!
Members of the FBLA club and Student Council traveled to State College to attend a lecture by guest speaker Gian Paul Gonzalez.
Gian is a former college basketball star who had a shot at the NBA but passed it up to become a middle school teacher in New Jersey. He achieved notoriety in 2012 when he gave a talk to the New York Giants, who were struggling mid-season. His ALL-IN address motivated the Giants so much that they went on to the playoffs and beat the favored New England Patriots to win the Super Bowl that year.
Students left inspired by Gian’s message of ALL-IN feeling motivated to make ECC the best it can be!
The FBLA also recently held its annual bake sale, which helps support the program’s financial needs for regional and state-level events. Thank you to all who supported FBLA!
