Media Day was recently held for area Fall Athletes.
ECCHS Football Coach Tim Pearson speaks about his position as new head varsity coach and the upcoming football season.
“As the new Head Coach, I don’t have any accomplishments from the previous team to highlight. However, I am excited by the potential of this team with the returning starters and other returning players. We also have 7 new players that joined the team
including 6 who never played football before, but I believe that some will be impact players this year as they bring skills and talent from their other sports, said Pearson.”
“We enter this year with a roster of 25 which is 6 more than the previous year and we are on the right trajectory with 11 currently signed up for our CO-OP Junior High program with St Marys Area School District. The future is bright for ECC Football.”
The Crusader football team opens their season on Friday, August 25th at Otto-Eldred.
